I am beyond impressed with this service! My back passenger door was a bit warped and had some nasty scratches after hitting up against a parking garage barrier. Other body shops I contacted told me I'd need a $2,000 door replacement and 5-7 days in the shop - Instant Car Fix offered to help at my place of residence for a fraction of the cost! Jake, Tony and team kept me updated about their progress via text and arrived prepared with all supplies needed. They were very friendly and humble. After about 2 hours, the car looked like nothing had even happened - even more impressive, they did all the work while it remained parked between 2 other cars at my apartment complex! I will definitely consider using their services again- though hopefully not for another accident :) They told me they also do routine maintenance so will keep their card on file!

I booked this service with less than 24 hours notice, and true to their promise, they delivered with no delay. I live in another state, so I sent them to visit a cargo van I was interested in near DC. I was told by the seller the transmission had a "kick", so I asked them to pay close attention to it. The mechanic they sent, Lee, did a full inspection and took the extra time to give me a call and walk me through his observations on the overall condition of the vehicle, including the engine and the transmission, and the work that I'll likely have to put into it. They gave me enough info to negotiate with the seller and not overpay for the van. Would use them again 100%.

Okay, so the mechanic was about 45 minutes late to my appointment, which normally would frustrate me. However, the entire experience ended up being surprisingly positive.When Jake (the mechanic) arrived, he was extremely apologetic about the delay. He explained there was a complex repair on his previous job that took longer than expected. Instead of rushing through my brake pad replacement, he took the time to thoroughly explain what needed to be done.The work was exceptional - he replaced both front brake pads and rotors, checked my brake fluid, and even noticed a minor alignment issue that could cause future problems. Despite the late start, he completed everything within the estimated timeframe and at the quoted price.What could have been a frustrating experience turned into a professional and thorough service. His transparency about the delay and the quality of work completely won me over. I'll definitely use Instant Car Fix again.
