My car needed its 70K service, and I didn't want to pay dealership prices or spend 2-3 hours sitting there. So I brought up Google and then Yelp to search for mobile mechanics, and Instant Car Fix was the first mobile service I found. I spent some time conversing with the agent via chat to get a quote and negotiate a bit, as my price wasn't too far off from the dealership. However, they were coming to me, and time is money, and spending 2-3 hours at the dealership isn't a good use of time or money. So I scheduled the service. I was kind of leery about authorizing payment ahead of time; especially since I just had another mobile service do brake work and I paid them onsite after the job was completed. But the mechanic came at the time we discussed and was ready to get started. Unfortunately he spoke very little English and I don't speak any other languages. We were able to make it work but I did make note to speak with the agent I had been chatting with to let her know of the language barrier problem, which I wasn't expecting when I booked it. I still keep going back to the price of the service, especially the labor rate for how little work needed to be done to the car. I will likely use this service again, but I may price it out with other mobile services. All in all, I liked the overall experience, the completeness of the mechanic and how easy it was.

Service standards are miles ahead of most other mobile mechanics. I needed a diagnostic appointment to figure out why my car wouldn't start. Came to Yelp's site first, as I knew they'd be able to reach out to several highly rated mobile mechanics for me with just one click. Most of the mechanics responded to my Yelp inquiry with only a phone number. Not only was Instant Car Fix the first to respond; they also included a quote for the diagnostic service I needed. When I asked about availability, Instant Car Fix immediately engaged me via text, personally responding to more of my questions, and securing a service appointment for me for the following morning - which was great! Even better: I was then told minutes later that a mechanic was freed up to provide the diagnosis that evening if I was available (I was). The mechanic assigned was friendly, knowlegeble, and did a visibly thorough job in diagnosing and communicating my problem: car needs a new starter. He then took the time to explain to me how he came to his assessment. I was thoroughly pleased with this experience and look forward to calling and recommending Instant Car Fix in the future.

Wonderful service- I would highly recommend!!! Our Honda’s starter went out on us on a Sunday. After it proved too much for us to self fix, I posted a project on Yelp- I’m so glad Instant Car Fix reached out. With a few communications back and forth we had everything lined up for servicing Monday. There was great day-of communication as well, which was helpful as my car was not close to home. The service tech was very nice and when we discovered that we (the owners) had bought the wrong replacement part, Instant Car Fix was able to source and get the right one to complete the service same day. Complete engine service that also included valve cover and other optional services. Instantcar Fix. It was absolutely fantastic technician (Alex) was very informative and professional while speaking to my wife and myself on the repair that was being done. The thorough follow up and communication was on point by the service manager (Gary) there was no work done without approval. All parts are there for your viewing. And less expensive than the dealer!
